In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Flushing; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12–11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flushing follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A pricier hot pot experience, but totally worth it for the quality wagyu. We ordered the Silver Set which came with the specialty dishes: the wagyu nigiri bursts with grilled juicy flavor, and the rich bone marrow paired perfectly with the crunchy toast. We loved the combo of the spicy mala with the more savoury sukiyaki broth. We were so full we didn't get the ice cream dessert.

1 Star This was a very disappointing dining experience. My family of 5 adults and 2 children spent over $600 for dinner, expecting a premium experience. While I appreciate that our server was friendly and professional, the rest of the evening fell far short of expectations. The food looked beautiful, but I have serious concerns about the restaurant’s food safety and hygiene. We finished dinner at around 7:40 PM, and by 8:30 PM, shortly after I got home, I was vomiting and experiencing severe diarrhea. I have never had such a rapid and severe reaction after eating at a restaurant. To make matters worse, the restaurant floor was extremely slippery. I almost slipped and fell while walking, which is a serious safety hazard that should never be overlooked. Spending over $600 only to spend the rest of the night sick was completely unacceptable. Attractive presentation means little if customers leave feeling unwell, and a restaurant charging premium prices should ensure both food safety and a safe dining environment. I hope management takes this matter seriously, investigates what happened, and thoroughly reviews its food handling, sanitation, and overall safety standards. Based on

I was definitely taken aback a little by the prices at first but went with the cheapest option, the seasonal menu for $31 per person. For $31, this was totally a great meal. We were served one plate of 4 wagyu slices which were absolutely delicious, as well as a tower of beef strips. All additional ingredients were at the self-serve station. Everything was portioned into small servings and wrapped in Saran Wrap for freshness (which is great because I sometimes grab more than I can finish). We were completely stuffed by the end of our meal. I didn’t even order any additional meat, though I do believe I could have if I wanted to. We still tried the free ice cream tho hehe. The matcha ice cream was so nostalgic because they had the exact flavor that I used to get in my birthday cakes from Taipan. I can’t speak for the more premium menu sets but I can definitely vouch for the seasonal menu.

The $31 seasonal buffet here is definitely worth a try. Each person gets one limited portion of A5 wagyu, but Angus beef, lamb, and chicken are all unlimited. Everything is sliced thin, so it’s easy to keep eating without feeling heavy. The snow crab chawanmushi is a highlight, soft, silky, and served hot. I ended up having several bowls myself. The self-serve bar has a good variety too, with vegetables, fruits, beef balls, quail eggs, and shrimp paste, plus unlimited drinks. Overall, a satisfying meal and a great spot to enjoy with friends

I went to this place because it advertised itself as a premium shabu-shabu restaurant serving wagyu and seafood, but the experience was honestly terrible. 1. The grilled meat they served was completely overcooked and fell apart to the point that it was hard to even recognize the shape of the meat. It felt like scraps. 2. The meat meant for shabu-shabu was slightly better, but still nowhere near worth the price. 3. The crab from the seafood selection was just boiled and served whole. It was unclear how we were even supposed to eat it — were we expected to crack the shell with our teeth? 4. Everything, including drinks and vegetables, had to be self-served. 5. The drink selection was poor, and the sauces tasted cheap and actually ruined the flavor of the meat. 6. The grilled meat was also covered with what tasted like cheap Chinese seasoning powder. 7. The seating was extremely uncomfortable — there was no legroom under the table, so we basically had to sit on tiptoe while eating. Overall, this is not a place I would ever return to.
